Cunning cat
Felix was quite done in after reading the Times literary section.
Actually this is a cat who is pretending to be sound asleep because he knows fine that he isn't allowed in the bedrooms. He also knows that I'm a soft touch and he can usually get round me.
I'm not falling for it today, I keep catching him opening one eye and squinting at me in a most un-sound-asleep-like manner!
To be honest I don't mind him being here at all, well until I try to get into my bed (why do cats always curl up right in the centre and steal all the blanket?!), but mum has a no cats on beds rule when he up-chucked one too many times! He really only has himself to blame, but he still looks up at us in that deeply wounded big eyed innocent way, usually followed by some mewling and scratching - then rushes straight past you like lightning as soon as you open the door a crack.
I would like to point out that this is my bed in my parents house and the one I have in my own flat looks slightly more grown up and doesn't have any cat-cushions.....
The notebook however is all me, what can I say, I have a thing for stationary.
