Rain

Today I fell in love with the rain.

I was mesmerised by these images on the screen this morning and had a psychedelic day driving in the rain intoxicated by the shapes, colours, prisms, reflections EVERYWHERE; ecstatic in the spray from lorries. A transcendent and transforming day. Winter blipping holds no fears for me now.

Thanks to someone (Tucson Jim I think) who advised loving the object of your attention and to GordonB for water shot the other day which set me thinking.

Sitting to post tonight I was really torn between monochrome images and the couple that turned out in colour - so I've put the others here. None of them have been edited in any way except cropped - so much of this is beginner's luck. I'm like a kid in a sweet shop. Love that rain.
