Fishermen fishing in a fishing boat for fish.
Jumped out of bed bright and early this morning (11.30) because me and Flick wanted to get down to the camera shop and buy a new lens for her camera. The 18-55mm kit lens supplied with the Canon is a bit pants really, and for the past week, she has been using a smashing fixed 50mm Macro lens, but has spent a lot of time scrabbling about in bushes and tree-tops to frame her wildlife pictures - quite sucessfully as it happens. However, to protect life and limb, we thought a general purpose zoom would do the trick.
In the camera shop we tried out a number of lenses, but both easily settled for a Sigma 18-125mm, which turned out to be the cheapest as it was second-hand. I have to say that I didn't even know you could get second hand digital lenses.
So off to the rezzy again to try it out - and we weren't disappointed, so much better than the kit lens, and with a bit more zoom too.
This boat was some way out, and I was very pleased to be able to get the look of concentration on the faces of these fisherman.
What fun we're going to have...
