snap snap

quick run along through the town today - saw this hip dude standing on George Street with his funky shades. snap! and the blip is in the bag.

I came across an article about Basic Daylight Exposure which took me back to the good old days so I thought I'd give it a try.

The premise is that the exposure for a bright sunny day is the ISO as a shutterspeed by f/16 - so, for ISO 80 it would be 1/80th @ f/16.

I calculated that the exposure should have been 1/1000th @ f/4 but I found that my math was probably wrong - out by a stop or so - so set it accordingly and then proceeded to snap away like a happy little bunny. I'll have to give it a try with the SLR.
