Rhodedendron blossom

This was rather a last-minute blip today, before the light went. Its not very good quality either, as I took it quickly before getting on with a late dinner. I had expected to get a blip while out biking with Roger on the bike trail this evening, but I just didnt see anything that I thought was worth blipping. The trail follows the Little Miami River for much of its route, but over the years the trees have got larger, and the undergrowth much thicker, so views have been almost obliterated - you can just see glimpses of the water through the branches. For this reason I prefer riding the bike trail out of the summer months, when you can see more.
