A time for everything

Millenium clock bell tower

Very warm and muggy today. I was at church this morning for knitting ministry, then I went swimming at the "Y" in Blue Ash. On my way back home I stopped to take a quick blip in Blue Ash Town Square. The major feature of the clock bell tower is the inclusion of etchings and related historical information inscribed upon black granite panels mounted on the clock bell tower's supporting columns. The granite etchings honor all-time great Americans. After lunch, and talking to Laura on the phone (she's in England with her grandparents) I cut the grass, which was pretty exhausting in the heat and humidity, but I knew we were supposed to have storms later on, so I needed to get it done. The storms did indeed materialize - about 7pm - it got really dark and we had really heavy rain, accompanied by terrific thunder and some lightening. A good evening to be safe at home!
