New Shoes

My new mountain biking/cyclocross shoes arrived today. I can now retire my 1993 Nike laceups. Seriously. I was the only person racing yesterday that had shoelaces on their feet. I was probably the only person who also raced an entire season of cyclocross last season with aforementioned laces.

Now, these beautiful carbon-fiber Northwaves wait to be broken in. The only problem is they're white. Who makes a white leather shoe designed for playing in the mud?

They're almost too beautiful to actually ride with. Those Italians and white leather.
