Giant fluff ball...

...seedhead of Yellow Salsify, considered a weed in these parts. I admire it for its ability to adorn an ugly alley...not an easy task.

I promised myself an image straight out of the camera today...only weensy trick was the use of an extension tube...well...and I did pick it and bring it inside because the wind was whipping...stormy weather is on the way.

That would makes it two weensy tricks then, I suppose.
