Demonstration at Tempelhof
Today I went to a demonstration at the grounds of the former Tempelhof Airport in Berlin, and got to experience being a real journalist (not officially sanctioned by my program, but it was totally awesome anyway). People were, for the most part, relatively peaceful, but the police instigated some fights and invited some bottles to be thrown their way. This kid got arrested for flying a flag, which apparently isn't allowed a demonstrations. If you're interested in the rest of the story, visit radwechsel.blogspot.com some time tomorrow for a more detailed recap of the situation and perhaps also a photo essay.
