An evening at the theater

This evening we went, with friends, to dinner and the theater. That may sound like a fancy evening out, but it wasn't, not at all. The dinner was excellent: egg plant parmesan for Bob and crab cakes and a glass of wine for me. Then we drove up the road about 25 miles to Rabbit Run Theater -a converted barn- for a student production of Les Miserables. The evening was cool and rainy so we didn't mind that there was no AC, and the students from many area high schools were wonderfully talented. I really enjoy watching students perform, and this evening was a real treat.

Tomorrow is Friday and the start of a long weekend for us as we celebrate Independence Day. I'm hoping the weather improves. This has been a very rainy week in Ohio.
