Sea Monkey

Jack bought a packet of Sea Monkey eggs back in February, he bought a fish bowl to put them in too. It took a while for them to hatch, but eventually we had a few swimming around. Only 2 survived to become adults, we still have them now, but every now and again, little ones appear for a while which makes me think that they mate? Of the 2 that we have, one is dark brown, while the other is pale. The dark brown one seems to have a rather large set of gonads (we assume the male), whilst the pale one doesn't. Every now and then they SWIM together for a while, and not long after we get little ones.
This could purely be coincidence, we haven't got a clue about their life cycle other than what the website says, so if anyone can enlighten us, please do.
Anyway, I've just cleaned them out today so you can see them clearly, this is a photo of the MALE we presume.
