Summer outing

It was the summer outing for everyone at work, with children of staff allowed to come too. So after a frantic getting organised in the morning, we set off for the beach. Dropped Gordon at work on the way, and I carried on, having agreed to meet them all there.
I went too far along the dual carriageway. I turned back and then took the wrong exit. I got there in the end. I remained reasonably calm.
We all had a great time; Noah had his first feet on sand experience, and loved it. Dig dig dig.
Then I had to go to my other job. I missed a turning. The next turning had been changed into a 'no right turn'. I got lost. I did not remain reasonably calm.
But I am now, and it was a very happy day.
