The tree in the sea

This used to be an ancient woodland... until the sea invaded.

This is the last tree standing. But I like it. It speaks of standing your ground against all the odds.

The cliffs are gradually collapsing into the sea along this coast.

If this trend continues, I may find myself living on the coast without moving!
