Day 5 - Inverewe Garden
This 50 acre garden was created by Osgood Mackenzie in 1862. Full of exotic, colourful plants, the area benefits from the warm currents of the Gulf Stream which flow along the west coast of Scotland. Now cared for by The National Trust for Scotland.
Plants and trees from the Himalayas, Tasmania, New Zealand, Australia, Chile, Japan, South Africa.
This large eucalyptus tree is in the rock garden in front of the house.
