Bridgeton Cross
I didn't have much time (or inclination) for photography today. However I've driven past this scene a couple ot times recently and thought I would jump out the car for a quick snap.
The Clock Tower and Shelter date back to the 1870s.
The shelter was known locally as the Umbrella.
The roof is made from red shingle but its a bit worn and faded at the moment. I've restored it to something along the lines of what I remember about 10 years ago.
Obviously I didn't get ladders out and start sand-blasting it. Photoshop is a lot easier!
