Silver Oak Tree
The new tree, to replace the messy one! C&Rsnr planted the two new Silver Oaks yesterday!
The old restaurant for our garden birds was replaced by this one, it is about 3m tall already, but it is still a very thin little tree. They are quite fast growing trees and average a height of about 11m and a width of up to 8m, ample size to host all the birds that visit our garden daily.
C hung the feeder only this morning, and quite a few birds visited it already this afternoon. They started a little garden around the tree as well, looks quite nice already. The bird bath was moved closer to the tree and the stump of the old tree was left in the ground and will serve as decoration as soon as the planning of the garden is completed.
