Artists and an argument

This is Hosier Lane in the city. The entire street is covered in graffiti which is, as far as I can tell, sanctioned by all the surrounding shop owners. It's a really interesting street to walk down - the art changes every few weeks.

Saw some guys painting today. One of them was immersed in a vigorous debate with a woman about whether what they do is art or vandalism. I had a bit of a chuckle when he said, 'the government is paying millions of dollars to decorate the city. I'm decorating it for free. People should be happy about that!'.

With my new-found freedom today, I went out and bought an iPhone. Woo hoo! Now off to have a play...
