Bologna - Day 1

Went all Cilla Black again and took Mrs DP off for her surprise birthday 'weekend' (ok - Tuesday to Friday). Drove to Gatwick, parked up, checked in, through security, before finally revealing that we were off to Bologna, Italy, for three days of sun and good food. Mrs DP thankfully pleased with my choice!

Good flight, bus into town, checked into our funky hotel - the Una - a bit bonkers, but very nice - we were upgraded to an executive room which we duly christened the "Easyjet suite". Freshened up and were soon in a quiet square, eating outside, with plates of bruschetta, parma ham, pizza and a bottle or so of the local red lambrusco.
