the right choice

Our house has two large cabbage trees on it, they're probably betweem 40 and 60 years old. As I've mentioned before, I think they are a pretty special tree. These two were a huge part of the decision to buy this house.

We had three houses to choose from, one 1905 villa on Pine Hill looking south over an established garden of native trees - huge rooms, with high ceilings, beautiful - another was art deco style in a great part of town and had been owned by a boat builder and so had a basement with a crane that you could build 40ft yachts in it (talk about MAN room).

This house was the sensible one that we could most easily afford. The cabbage trees helped me feel better about that.
