Ross Cottage

After a pretty full on day at work, during which we had a big new job all but confirmed...we headed away for the weekend, arriving after dark.

Or destination, Ross Cottage, located in Staveley, just over 100K from home. Aside from being a very lovely spot, it's also home to a very unique ice skating rink ..

Extraordinarily windy night, and if the cottage hadn't been here for over 130 years, I thought it would have blown away!
