ah, Vienna

last day of the adventure - and day two in Vienna, again it rained. It was cold too or rather, colder than any other day since I'd left. brr.

We enjoyed a lovely huge breakfast at our hotel (hello cheap 4 star hotel, you were so worth it!) before running around town looking at grand palaces that had been turned into hotels (the outsides as they all seemed to be closed on Tuesdays, worse luck). Not too much fun in the rain.

the highlight was coming across the huge town hall - and SJ's cry of "Wo ist der Rathaus?" while standing right underneath it.

Our final overnight train was from Vienna to Frankfurt - unfortunately our carriage was pretty full which meant not much sleep for us.
