Kaybees Bits

For Scarlett

As promised................here is the pendant I couldn't have hallmarked.

The picture is the view that can be seen through a hole in the livingroom wall of a deralict cottage that was bought by a friend of the artist. Every now and again they go up with the intention of doing some renovation work and end up just sitting looking at the view with a dram in hand.

The 'picture' is made from niobium and it is set into a block of sterling silver.

The artist is a master gold/silversmith. He designed the 6 Nations Rugy Tournament trophy. I cannot link him here because he does not have a website, but sells through word of mouth and collectors fairs around Edinburgh. If you can make it to the Pittenweem Arts Festival he sells from his front room in Mid Shore (James Ward).

The festival is an amazing experience.........homes are emptied and artists take them over and turn them into galleries - very well worth a vist.

I have two other 'pictures' which are now mounted in small picture frames and hanging on the wall (it stops my wife from claiming them aas hers) and I may post shots of them in the future when I have a slow blip day.
