Ferry fair

My husband and I took a drive to South Queensferry today as my friend had told me the Ferry Fair was on and to give her a buzz if we were free and we'd meet up.

We weren't organised enough to make it down for the parade as my husband was out last night and didn't get home until 5am! While waiting for my friend my husband bumped into an old work colleague and I saw Queenie and her family walk by.
Having met up with my friend we all took a wander along the high street to see what was happening. On the way along we came across a lady who was lying sprawled on the ground, unsure if she had just had too much to drink or was ill my friend went to see if she was ok. I ended up going to find someone to help and came back with some people from the Red Cross. We left them to deal with her and went on our way.

On the way home we took a detour to Dalmeny House. It is a lovely looking building but I only managed to take a few shots before the battery died on my camera and I had forgetten to bring my spare one. Will just need to add it to my list of places to go back to for blipping!
