Rick Stein's Bastard Sri Lankan Curry Powder

An unusual title for a blip, I'll grant you that...

Sent eBay parcels then into town, wandered around the new Sainsburys in awe and banished all memories of Chavda. Home, tidied house, and then started prep for tonight's curry - Sri Lankan Cashew Nut Curry from Rick Stein's new book. After at least an hour of roasting spices and grinding them until my arm is numb, I now have a small jar of the aforementioned curry powder, affectionately renamed, and from which I hope I'll be getting the curry to beat all currys.

Top tip - just buy it ready made next time...
