Empty seat

I pass this seat all the time when I am out on my regular walk around the neighborhood, but rarely do I see anyone sitting on it! It looked a tempting spot in the dappled light of late afternoon. The temperature was actually relatively pleasant, compared to the heat and humidity we've had all week, and there was a pleasant breeze. They'd promised us rain and storms today, and we did have some heavy rain for a short while this morning, but by mid to late afternoon the sun was breaking through and it actually turned into a lovely evening. Unfortunately, Roger had a church meeting this evening, so we couldnt go out and enjoy it.
