Sprouting carrot

R jnr and I ate raw carrots the other night, round about bedtime!

I decided to use the top of the carrot, which I cut off when I peeled it, cut off the 'not so fresh' leaves and stick it in the little pot with soil on my desk!

Within one week, this is what grew out there! It reminds me of my childhood days, when we did little 'experiments' like this for Biology Class! Will do this for my great grandchildren one day in the far, far future!! ;-)
