"Why did the geese cross the road?"

To join their friends on the other side! I was out walking this morning in Olde Montgomery, an apartment and town house complex in the neighborhood. It's a nice place to walk, as it is quieter than on the roads, and it is nicely landscaped, with several small lakes. I just couldn't resist blipping this - the geese crossing the road exactly where the sign is. The sign is placed at the shortest point between two lakes, but the geese hadn't come directly from the lake - they were actually walking along the left hand side of the road and chose to cross right where the sign was!
