Last But Not Least

This was the last bud on the plant to finally open. Luckily its tardiness seemed to save it from the rains that rotted the petals of its neighbors. I love the colors and the patterns of the petals in this flower. All I did to touch this up was to turn up the shadow settings on Picasa to create the black background (Note: only seems to work when the background you shoot against is darker than the flower to begin with), I used this same effect on these Dark Eyes Fuschia..
