Thrown pots...

These are some of the 24 cups/bowls that got thrown last night. Most are mixed clay or agateware. There are several natural colors of clay involved and some clay that is colored with stains and is more vibrant. I made some colors of turquoise, blue, orange and violet. I know find that the orange and violet don't like being used as body stains and will probably go white. Throwing mushes the colors all up. Tomorrow I will remove just a bit of clay from the surface revealing the pattern with in.

Today, I am grateful for the day I was given, how much fun it is to throw clay without lumps, and the studio.
