An impromptu bike ride

On a sudden plan, far too late in the day Adda and I decided to go for a ride. It was enjoyable. The weather was pleasant and windy. A bit towards the outskirts, the fields were a lush green after the late monsoons and random lakes were formed everywhere.

As the sun set and a full moon rose, as a part of the sky still continued to remain pale yellow when the other side had stars twinkling on it, we managed to get lost! We rode through muddy pathways beside fields, then through a set of deserted roads without street-lamps, and I feared we might get more late returning than we eventually did.

The Chief Minister, YSR's death has decapitated the city. A few of the shops had opened only by evening. Tyres are burning at every road. Almost everything is shut down. Every television channel, except a few that are telecasting news of the deceased politician is blocked. One has to comply. One has to go into mourning. That is the plan.

Every death is to be mourned, and given the nature of thing in India, one does tend to have a few doubts about politicians. Apparently, about 30 people have died in the state from shock or heart attack at the news of the CM's demise. Like one of the reputed journalists was saying on television, "As a politician, YSR cannot be painted solely in black or white." I suppose one has to be grateful for that.

(Almost all offices declared a holiday today)

P.S. One of these is an ISO 3200 image without noise reduction. Any guesses?
