Egyptian Goose (Alopochen aegyptiacus)

They surprised me with a lovely performance this afternoon! I shot them in full flight, beautiful, boasting their lovely coloured feathers, but by the time I had the camera in focus, this was the only good one I could manage! I have three more lovely ones, but really a wee bit out of focus! This link has lovely information on them!

This keeps bugging me since this afternoon!!
Marieta's hubby is out of Hospital, wearing his back brace and feeling quite uncomfortable and painful, but to be home is a big improvement already! I said just now, when I spoke to her, the biggest irritation in Hospitals are the noisiness and the fact that the nurses wake you up to ask if you're sleeping!! ;-)
