Early Morning On The River

I've never seen a morning like this morning! At 6.30am I gasped when I looked out of the narrowboat window onto the river Weaver. What a rush to fling on some clothes and grab the camera AND a deck chair to sit and watch the day breaking! The mist was thick around our little boat and the sun was breaking through.

Every moment was beautiful, with swans, geese, herons and the odd cormorant flying past, the mist had nearly lifted an hour later when I took this view. Have a look at Chippy's to see an early shot in the mist.
