Yes, these are teeny, tiny hats. Have you ever seen them on the shelves in the winter? Its a campaign that innocent smoothies run in the colder months. Volunteers can knit as many of these little things as they like, send them in, and they appear on the lids of the smoothie bottles on the shelves. For each bottle that is sold with a hat on, 35p is donated to Age Concern. This is the second year I've done it - and these are the only things I've ever managed to knit!
