Alex wasn't up for a sleep and was kicking off so he got strapped into a buggy and Daddy got tooled up and took him for a walk around the village of Gibourne. Now this place really gives sleepy a raucous name, think I saw a villager and possible signs of life in a couple of other properties. Whatever is happening in the French agricultural sector it seems to involve a lot of people upping sticks and heading somewhere. There were quite a few properties in need of immediate repair and some heading that way. Curiously all the farm machinery seemed to be in the village, quite curious for someone used to farms being autonomous units outwith other settlements. I'm guessing this is the way it's always been though the labour (and hence the villagers) has been replaced by John Deere.
