Claire and Andy's Wedding

Today was a very busy day. We left the villa at 6am and drove to Barcelona airport. I slept the whole way in the car which meant that I was bright as a button all the way through the flight. Mum and Dad found it hard to keep me entertained, but I made my own entertainment by playing peekaboo with my blanket and waving at the people behind us. I made lots of friends! We flew to Gatwick because we were going to Dad's cousin Claire's wedding. Because it seems to take a very long time to get out of airports, we didn't have much time to get to the wedding, which was at 3.30pm in the Archbishop's Palace in Maidstone. We all had to get into our smart clothes at a service station! We met Uncle Charles and Auntie Kirsty there. Auntie Kirsty had to give me her bangle to keep me quiet during the ceremony. As I'd had another sleep in the car, I was all chirpy again and kept saying Mum and Dad and hiya to the people behind us, as well as waving to them. Lots of people spoke to me after the wedding while the photos were being taken. Some of them even look at my blip (hello Kasia!). We went back to Homecroft where this group photo was taken and there was a lovely buffet laid on. Mum even let me have a cocktail sausage. We couldn't stay long because we were flying back home at 9pm, but it was nice to have been there. After just a little bit of crying I fell asleep on the plane. Papa came to collect us from Edinburgh airport and both Dad and I slept in the back of the car all the way home. It was straight to bed when we got in to dream of my big adventure. Back to normal tomorrow!

Here's a link to some more photos of today.
