A time for everything

Chatham harbor

This morning, we walked one of the trails at Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, a popular place with bird enthusiasts. We had a good walk, but I wasnt able to get any good shots of birds - they were too far away. Then we went into Chatham and had lunch. Then wandered round the village and decided to walk to the lighthouse, which turned out to be much further than we thought. So Roger took pity on me. While I sat and admired the view, he went back for the car! Then we drove along the road to the harbor, where there is an observation deck right above where the boats unload their catch, which we remember from our last trip ten years ago. However, this occasion we weren't there at the right time. We did get to watch seals playing about in the harbor though.
