Squall

Not entirely sure about this one. It might change later.
I really liked the golden glow of this building in the sunlight with a big black cloud coming up behind. On screen it looks a bit "meh", even cropped right down to this.

Edit: About the roof. It's become a bit of a cliche on restored buildings in Edinburgh; the theory seems to be that red pantiles are appropriate for all old buildings, they're "vernacular" dontcha know. Well, up to a point! A lot of poorer coastal housing was roofed with pantiles, they were imported from the Low Countries as ballast in returning ships that had exported herring. Posher buildings (as this was) would have had slate, or lead or slab roofs. I was a bit involved with the archaeology at the Scottish parliament site, they insisted on putting a pantile roof on Queensberry House and not a single fragment of pantile was found in the garden beside it!! Plenty roofing slate, though. [rant over]
