Lough Major

Behold Lough Major.

I am currently in my home town for a few days. My family home overlooks this lake. Trees ultimately block this view but 5 minutes up the road and this is what you see.

I was driving to my sisters house this morning at 9am and this is the sight that awaited me as I drove around the corner...

It's a typical small town, twitchy curtains, everyone knows your business, alcoholism is rife, Lord knows what else is rife. It's probably never spoken about anyway.

However in times of crisis, good neighbours all pull together, no questions asked.

You don't get that in the city...and you certainly don't get spectacular views like this...
