Stayed in this gorgeous little hotel in the picture-perfect Cotswold village of Painswick* for a couple of nights - a fantastic get-a-way.

It helped that it was blue sky weather for the whole time we were there.

Mrs42 (pictured) and I took afternoon tea (the full buna with cucumber sandwiches and scones and everything) just after this shot. Mmmmm.

Who'd have thought I'd get a little sunburnt in October?

* Beautiful village, old buildings, windy lanes, great location, amazing scenery. Shame the people were all too posh to be polite - not the hotel but the residents...
