Dubai Terminal 3

Headed out to Dubai today.
Started the day in the office getting all the presentation packs printed out.

Grabbed the 2:15 Emirates flight to Dubai. Emirates has the best economy of any airline in the world. The best in-flight entertainment system. Probably around 250 movies available on demand.

Watched Terminator:Salvation, followed by Angels and Demons. Started "Moon" (a bit of a sci fi art film a la 2001) but got bored of that.

Got into Dubai T3 around 00:30 am. Dubai T3 is WAY more impressive than Heathrow T5 and it opened with no hassles!

Unfortunately the queue for taxis was huge...but moved quickly (probably only 30 mins). The Blip is of the roof and lights where the taxis come through.

Had to grab a taxi down to Abu Dahbi. Taxi was around 1.5 hrs....and he kept falling asleep and crosssing lanes. Just as well it was a 7 lane motorway.

Got into our 5* hotel around 3:30...but it wasn't 5* service. Said they didn't have our bookings. I slapped down a credit card and told them to get us a couple of rooms now! We were due at Etihad for 8:45 - so I wanted to get a few hours sleep.

Got to the room, not bad...and slept soundly....
