November's Shore
The November shoreline is a beautiful sight. This little girl walked right into my picture . . . what a lovely surprise. A child's wonder at the edge of the ocean is a marvelous experience.
We stole a couple hours from an over full schedule to "run-away" this morning . . . to have a "breakfast date" at the ocean. I'll never regret that we did, but I will pay for it tonight as I burn the midnight oil taking care of business.
That's okay--the end of the semester is on the far horizon. It's arrival is expected and sure and will be cause for one more joyous celebration.
I am having a good start to November and this new week. I hope you are too! I'll be commenting tomorrow after classes because tonight I'm reading student essays. Oh the joy!
Good night from Southern California.

P.S. The photo was taken at Crystal Cove between Newport and Laguna Beach in front of a wonderful little open air restaurant, The Beachcomber. A great place for a "breakfast date." It is even better in "big," so tap the magnifying glass.
