Retired Rock Star

Introducing Paul who lives in my neighbourhood.

At the age of 17 & inspired by the Beatles, he established his first band with his brother Peter in 1964. Over the course of his career he was in five bands in Christchurch.
Being a leftie, he had this guitar specially made for him.

His band were enlisted on occasion to play support or be the backing band for a variety of international artists in the sixties & seventies including Muddy Waters, Dudley Moore, Chicago & Blood Sweat & Tears.

He also played with John Farnham when he went on the obligatory trip to Australia that all Kiwi bands have to make.
