"Until Christmas Day"

Moms
It has been a part of our lives for 40 years or more.

Her vanity on top an old and forgotten dresser.
It is where she places her earrings, Avon creams, peppermint candies, etc..
At one time it held a love letter from me to a boy. She found it!

It was never sent which was for the best. My spelling she said was terrible
and should not be viewed by others.

One day she added a photo of her younger Brother.
O the fisher man with the yard:-)

Then The Twins_Her Nephews.
Oh so much gained and the pain.
One, wounded in battle.
The other, passing while on leave from duty after many many years
of serving.

Last, the Navy Man_Another Nephew.
Now a Navy Man's Dad.

The Holiday ornament and vanity stays
in place year round.

Keeping watch over those that enter.
And those that know the men for who they are.
