Day After the Wedding

The parents of the Bride invited everyone to a "day-after-the-wedding-brunch" this morning (because there are many of us out-of-towners in Dallas for this lovely event). The brunch was at the home of the bride & groom, so our morning was filled with fun and food and friendship.

After returning to our hotel, the two of us walked to the local mall -- Grapevine Mills -- to walk and lookey-lou. The bookstore looked so inviting that we strolled in and headed to the magazine/newspaper section. We're trying desperately not to buy books (we have too many now), so we fondled the magazines for a while and walked out with one for him and two for me. ;-)

This evening we went to dinner with the bride's parents, her grandmother, and her 3 year-old son, Zack, in the community of Southlake and also enjoyed the lights.

Now, we are pooped. We'll get a night's sleep. Pack-up in the morning, and we have an afternoon flight home to Southern California. It's been a fun and full weekend in Texas. We're both so glad we were here this weekend.
