"Until Christmas Day"

She always plays the Holiday Music at Christmas Time.

This is Mommy before Us:-)
In other family photos you can see the twins are having
a tea party at our Grandmothers. Mommy's then, new mother-in-law.

She had just married Daddy and the Big House in San Mateo became the twins get away from their Uncle's Big House in San Francisco. And a change from the house they had grown up in.

As the years went by our parents separated but the house was always a welcome place for Mommy and her 2 girls.

Many Christmas Mornings were spent on the plastic covered furniture along with many other family members. So many that the house almost didn't fit us all inside.
But there were always the yards or other family members homes on the corner or around it, the small street, or the school yard to play in.

Christmas time in San Mateo 1961-1976 always meant special times of
sharing photo albums, playing games, listening to music, cooking and just having special family moments together.

Its not like that anymore but it is fun just recalling those times now. Even if the family gatherings are smaller and everyone older.

The blips of times gone by are always a special joy.
