took up the last of the radishes today, in order to empty the pots to put bulbs in for next year. surprisingly good they were too, despite the tops being bedraggled and windblown for several months. summer's definitely over when the last of the summer veg get harvested :-( on the other hand, the weather's been so good compared with last year it's more like it's still autumn - bright days, no flooded yard = :-)
