Number One

The snow meant that town wasn't quite as frantically busy as you'd expect on the Saturday before Xmas. However it was still way busier than I'd like. Although we weren't just shopping we managed to throw in some culture too. And a glass of wine.....

Got a new toy. Which means the relegation of some stuff to The Scary Cupboard (scary, because when you open the door there's a good chance that the contents may explode out the door and engulf me. How sad if I were to die suffocated by an old toaster, The Broons annual and 85 toilet rolls. Oh maybe 2010 will be the year to get the Scary Cupboard under control...)

I'm going to buy the Rage Against the Machine single. For any blippers not in the know, there's a big campaign to get this to number one in the charts for Xmas. To stop the winner of a reality telly programme getting to number one. I heard the X-factor winner today. It's just soooo bad.

However I had thought that Camera Obscura's The Blizzard would be a nicer song to back. That is until I heard this on Wossy's show this morning. Which I think is such a lovely wistfull song.
