Panama Canal

Well this is the main focus of our cruise, going through the Panama Canal. For those that have not, it really is a must see. Those that come on our cruise, treat it as a once in a lifetime trip. It still amazes me, even though I go through it every week, so I do consider myself lucky, although I must admit, I don't always get on deck to see it. The size and scale of it is astounding and the feat of engineering is just incredible. Some may argue but it truly is one of the modern wonders, even if it isn't that pretty to look at. As far as I'm aware around 21,000 people died during the making of it.
