A White Christmas

I've an experienced an occasional white christmas, but this really was a WHITE Christmas. For the bookies to pay out, it needs to actually snow on Christmas Day, which it did, but not much. But the additional snow was nothing compared to the snow that has been lying since last Sunday. It hasn't melted because the temperature hasn't gone above zero all that time. The scene was definitely a winter wonderland. It looked very beautiful but unfortunately snow does make it difficult to travel - which a lot of people want to do at Christmas !
