Cute little moggy

Having got up early to finish packing to head home to Edinburgh I found myself with a little spare time whilst everyone got themselves ready. With Alley in the bath wanting water I decided to get my camera out, and this was the result. I also loved her looking very cute.

The snow covered scenery on the route up to Edinburgh was fantastic. We decided to take my gran up to see our new home whilst she was still able to manage the stairs. She seemed to love it.

Unfortunately a downer was put on the evening when the neighbours came to complain that since we've moved in there's been lots of banging. We live fairly quietly, the tv is rarely on, we only got real furniture four days before we went away for Christmas and we try not to disturb them but we do have laminate flooring throughout. The only thing it can be is the doors so we've taken the automatic closer off the kitchen door and tomorrow we're going to try and pad the frames with foam and try and fix the horrible, horrible door knobs. Their baby's room is below our kitchen which means I now feel I can't put the dishwasher or washing machine on at night which is a real pain as that's when they always used to run. MEH! Going to speak to them about it properly tomorrow to try and find out exactly what the problem is. 6 years in my old flat and we only ever got one complaint when we were having a party and I've lived with some noisy folk in that flat. I love this flat but it's just one more annoying thing to add to the ever growing list of problems and it will be even harder to be quiet now we have wooden chairs.
